After Cage Composition Workshop, in dialogue with Festival After Cage
After Cage Composition Workshop is an intensive working space aimed at composers in advanced training or recently graduated, who wish to develop a new original work within a context of personalised mentorship, critical reflection, and direct collaboration with performers specialised in contemporary music.
The workshop is conceived for a small group of active participants (maximum 9), allowing for individualized guidance and a level of technical and artistic rigor suited to emerging professionals.

- With Javier Torres Maldonado as a permanent guest composer.
- Initiated and coordinated by composers Juan José Eslava (Artistic Director), Guillermo Cobo, and Carolina Cerezo.
- Ensemble E7.2 in Residence, with Pilar Fontalba (oboe), Iván San Miguel (contrabass) and Andreu Rico (percussion).
- Applications open until March 25, 2026.
- Application Deadline: March 25, 2026.
- Opening session: April 25.
- Online phase: May–July 2026.
- On-site phase: August 23–29, 2026 (accommodation included).

La estructura: a text by Enrique Pérez Arco, in dialogue with El umbal de una línea III, for saxophone and electronics.
Recently, an unexpected yet powerful encounter occurred between a recent text by the writer Enrique Pérez Arco and a piece of music from a few years ago: The Threshold of a Line III, for Saxophone and Electronics.
At the writer's initiative, this encounter has led to a publication in the digital newspaper La gaRceta de la Ribera.
The publication includes the text as well as its recording, in dialogue with The Threshold of a Line III.

A performative piano project, in collaboration with pianist Lluïsa Espigolé.
Commissioned by the Baluarte Foundation and the Government of Navarre, it premiered as part of the Pamplona Artistic Gatherings in 2022. The project continues to grow.

Festival After Cage
Since 2014, the artistic team E7.2 (a team of composers, instrumentalists, a stage director, an architect, and a cultural manager) has organised the After Cage International Festival of Musical Experimentation in Pamplona.
After Cage is a space for radical artistic creation and research, bringing together artists from diverse fields, always centred around investigative music and art committed to life.
